In response to the current worldwide pandemic, Wells + Associates (W+A) has instituted a COVID-19 Preparedness Policy to ensure the safety and health of our employees, their families, our clients and partners, and our communities. Our policy addresses proper hygiene practices, limitations and practices for gatherings, attendance restrictions, communication, and continued assessment of the circumstances.
With the exception of a few essential personnel required to preserve business continuity at W+A facilities, W+A employees are working remotely from their homes to limit interaction and potential spread of the COVID-19 virus and other illnesses. W+A’s technology infrastructure is suitable to accommodate the current needs so our clients’ deadlines and priorities can be met. With the new policy and procedures, we have also instituted the following safeguards for our employees, clients, and community partners:
- Cleanliness of W+A offices includes the regular sanitation of frequently touched surfaces. Minimum distances and limited interaction are being practiced by any staff needed in a W+A office.
- Any employee exhibiting signs of illness, having been in contact with someone testing positive for COVID-19 within 14 days, or having traveled outside the United States within 14 days are prohibited from entering W+A offices, visiting client project sites, or attending any in-person business meetings.
- Any employee who tests positive for COVID-19 must notify W+A’s HR department immediately so that anyone potentially exposed to the employee, including coworkers, clients, project partners, or members of the public, can be notified of the potential danger. Any employee who tests positive for COVID-19 will not be allowed to return to W+A offices, visit client project sites, or attend any in-person business meetings without a medical clearance indicating they no longer test positive for the virus.
We greatly value the relationships we have with our clients and partners and will do our part to minimize the spread of COVID-19 in our community. If you have any questions regarding W+A’s policy or procedures during this time, please feel free to reach out directly to Michael Workosky, President at mjworkosky@wellsandassociates.com and 703-676-3603 or Melissa Hish, Executive Vice President at mthish@wellsandassociates.com and 703-676-3605.
