TYSONS, VIRGINIA (January 6, 2023) – Wells + Associates (W+A), founded in 1991 by Marty Wells, a prominent provider of transportation and traffic engineering consulting services, announces the promotion of Justin Schor to Vice President of Business Development. He will oversee the firm’s business growth, expansion, marketing, and the formation of strategic partnerships.
“Justin has played a key role in the success of our firm as a leader of our Transportation Demand Management practice while focusing on business growth, strategic initiatives, market development, business expansion, and marketing for over 10 years. Justin joined the firm in April 2012 as a Senior Transportation Demand Management Specialist to co-lead the startup and management of W+A’s transportation demand management and mobility strategies practice. Since then, he has been successful in bringing enhanced mobility services and solutions to our private and public sector strategic partners and clients.
“I am deeply rooted in multimodal mobility planning, business development and marketing practices, and passionate about leveraging them to help our partners build more accessible and connected communities. I am honored to accept this position and excited to leverage my experience building new geographical markets and services from startup through maturity to help W+A grow where and how we serve our partners,” said Justin.
Justin is the co-author of the book Building a Multimodal Future: Connecting Real Estate Development and Transportation Demand Management to Ease Gridlock, published by the Urban Land Institute (ULI), and a regular speaker on the development of transportation policies and strategies that help real estate developments increase their density and reduce parking construction costs. He is also an active member and former Co-Chair of ULI Washington’s DEI Education Awareness Committee as well as an active member of its Innovation and Technology Council. In addition, Justin previously served as the Co-Founder and Chair of the Sustainable Real Estate Development Council for the Association for Commuter Transportation (ACT) as well as a Board Member for the Transportation Demand Management Institute (TDMI).
